A technical GORE-TEX® Shell designed to provide quick ascent through extreme conditions.
Care & Maintenance

To keep your Atacama GORE-TEX ePE shell waterproof and breathable, wash it regularly in warm water on a gentle cycle using a liquid technical detergent. Fasten all zippers and straps beforehand, and avoid powder detergents, fabric softeners, or bleach.

Tumble dry on a low, gentle heat setting to dry the fabric, then run it for an additional 20 minutes to reactivate the water-repellent (DWR) coating. When water stops beading on the surface, spray the damp jacket with a PFC-free DWR spray before drying.
Size & Fit

The Atacama GORE-TEX LightAscent Shell typically runs small. If likely used on its own, keep to your normal size, if layering for mountaineering purposes, take a size up, though for best results, refer to our size sheet below the 'Add to Cart' button.

What is the return policy?

We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchase. Our rules regarding returns vary depending on the state the product is in, more info can be found at the official return policy page, however, if the product is un-damaged or altered, within 14 days of arrival, and in communication with us, you are eligible for a return, whether this is paid for or not depends on the nature of the reason to return it.
When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. For the EU and the UK, your order should arrive within 4-9 days. For North America, allow for 7-13 days.

Yes. The Atacama Shell uses GORE-TEX ePE technology, which is made without intentionally added PFAS.

Unlike typical shells, the Atacama GORE-TEX Shell uses a tough 210D construction, premium GORE-TEX ePE protection, and an uncompromising focus on durability and performance.
How should I wash and care for the shell?

Machine wash at 40°C with a small amount of liquid detergent. Zip up all pockets before doing so. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Tumble dry on low to help restore the DWR finish. Always follow the care label inside the jacket.

Shipping is completely covered by Atacama, and is thus 100% free for you in the EU, UK and North America. However, if local fees are enforced you may have to pay them on arrival (e.g. Switzerland).
